When Is It Time To Replace Your System?

We’ve all heard stories of air conditioning systems that fail during the hottest days of the year. There are certain telltale signs that it’s time to replace your system and the Air Conditioning experts at Aspen Air are here to install and service all makes and models when that time comes. See the list of warning signals below that help to answer the question, “When is it time to replace my system?”:

Age: If your air conditioning system is more than 10 years old, it is probably time to replace it. Today, most equipment is manufactured with an ENERGY STAR label and when installed correctly, these units can save up to 20% on cooling costs.

Frequent Repairs: Having to call a technician on a regular basis is not only a signal that your system may be on its way out, it costs you money each time. Eliminate frequent repair visits and start saving money with a newly installed AC system.

Rooms Are More Like Freezers: In some cases, certain rooms of your house may be much colder than others. Improper equipment operation, duct problems, or inadequate insulation can be cause of this problem. Call a professional technician from Aspen Air to come over and assess the situation.

Excessive Noise: Noisy systems can be a result of undersized ducts or a problem with the indoor coil of your equipment.

Without a proper air conditioning system, a home or building would be uninhabitable. It is our goal to provide you with the most comfortable environment possible. If you are experiencing issues with your system or equipment, give us a call today.

The REME Cell & Indoor Air Quality

Indoor air quality is often overlooked and is rarely given the thought it deserves. As a responsible business or homeowner, nothing is more important than providing your employees and your family with a safe, healthy environment. Kansas State University recently completed testing on the Reflective Electromagnetic Energy (REME Cell) technology, that drastically increases the quality of your indoor air. Find out more about what the REME Cell is and how it works below:

What Is The REME Cell?

The REME cell is an ultra violet light combined with a Hydro-Peroxide generator installed in the air conditioning duct work that provides the 3 components you need for better indoor air quality:
  1. Up to 85% gas and odor reduction
  2. Up to 99% microbial reduction on surfaces and/or airborne for:
    1. H1N1 Flu
    2. Bird Flu
    3. SARS
    4. E.coli
  3. Up to 93% particulate reduction as small as .3 micron

How Does It Work?
It generates Hydro-Peroxides, (found naturally as a common part of our environment) and supercharges or ionizes them to destroy airborne and surface pollutants at the source. This brings the oxidants found in the outside air into the conditioned space of your home or facility.
